This hike starts right at the outskirts of Marquette and runs partially along the North Country Trail. It is one of Marquette’s favorites. The well maintained path leads along the shores of dammed up Dead River at the Tourist Park Location. It meanders over rocks and through dense woods back on relaxing soft grounded trail.

Easy/ rocky ground/ slightly hilly/can be as short as 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
